WHO IS BETHEL
Bethel Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs (we usually just refer to it as Bethel) is located 1.5 miles east of the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs, CO. Founded in 1982, we are a Bible-based, family friendly, multigenerational congregation of people who love and serve each other, give willingly of our time and treasures, and truly believe we can be a positive change in our world. Sunday morning activities include group worship, adult education classes, and children / youth Sunday School. Junior high and senior high youth groups meet weekly for social activities and religious education.
We have a servant’s heart. We participate in ministry opportunities in our community such as Partners in Housing, Family Promise, and Hope Kids. We have programs and activities for almost every generation and interest. Bible study groups for men, women, and couples meet regularly.
Our Preschool is a vital part of our ministry. The loving teachers nurture and educate toddlers who are one or two years away from kindergarten.
