About Bethlehem Healing Temple Info
Bethlehem Healing Temple church is an apostolic church with a traditional pentecostal "high-energy" spririt-filled and anointed worship service. It is a church that was founded out of the Living Witness of the Apostolic Faith Churches (LWAF) organization; located in Chicago, IL by the late prelate Bishop Charles E. Poole. The founding pastor of Bethlehem Healing Temple is Bishop Dr. Scottie L. Jackson, Sr. who was sent by Bishop Poole to start a ministry here in Gary, Indiana. The church was founded at the location of 2225 Broadway and moved to it's current location of 700 Jefferson Street in 1996. Our church motto is, "If I Can Help Somebody." In September of 2014, Bishop Scottie Jackson retired and became pastor emeritus and on October 4, 2015, our new pastor was installed as the Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Healing Temple: Elder Edward F. McNeil, Jr.
