We are a people seeking to love and be loved by God, encountering Him through the Bible, prayer, worship and fellowship. We are learners of Jesus’ mercy, Rest and His return; equipping His people and sharing the character of God locally and to the nations.

About Life in the Spirit Church of God
We are a Church of God (Cleveland, TN). We are Pentecostal but those from mainline denominations say they feel comfortable in our service format. Order and Freedom are both valued.
Sermons are based on the Bible. Worship is eclectic ranging from contemporary to hymns to gospel to hip hop and at times the children lead. We value communion, spirit filled living, the Word of God, the practice of rest and enjoying family and the corporate body as ministers. Broken people are welcome here, Blended families are valued and we appreciate people with or without education, money, disabilities, papers, suffering and any seeking God. Our primary goal is to worship God and to celebrate Him with others. We love all ages, colors and sizes. We love our church and our city!
