About Edmonds Adventist Church

Edmonds Adventist Church is a vibrant multi-generational, multi-cultural community of Christ followers full of love and grace for people of all walks of life. In addition to our weekly contemporary worship services we have a wide variety of opportunities to serve God and love our neighbors, from a free community food pantry to service clubs for children and youth. Our children's ministry offers an annual evening VBS and weekly Bible study classes for all ages. Edmonds Adventist Church believes in breaking bread together by having regular fellowship outside of weekly worship services, including annual corn roasts and barbeques, annual soup communion, and many more social events. We believe God's commands to love Him and love our neighbors are the most important commandments. This love is what we want everyone to experience when they walk through our doors!

BELIEFS

We believe God, the eternal Creator, is revealed partially in nature, fully in the Bible, and most completely in His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus of Nazareth is the fully human, fully divine Son of God. We believe salvation is received by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the enduring, inspired Word of God which unfailingly shows us the way of salvation. We believe Christians are saved from the power of sin and death and through salvation are empowered worship God and perform acts of love to all humankind. We believe the seventh day of the week was set aside at creation as holy time and continues to be a time to focus on worship, communion with God, and service to each other. We believe God is the owner of all and He entrusts us to use His gifts of resources, time,  and talents to serve Him through our giving, serving, and loving others. We believe history is moving toward the eternal kingdom of God, to be set up finally and fully at the time of the literal second coming of Jesus Christ.
