Moravian

As one of the earliest Protestant church, dating back to 1458 before the Reformation, the Moravians have a rich history that includes the first Protestant prayer movement lasting over 100 years at Hernhut Germany under Count Zinzendorf and the first Protestant missionary movement. George Wesley was saved under that movement. The Moravians came to America in 1735. The church is know for it missionary work, it’s musical tradition, and its commitment to education. The church’s major theological doctrine is found in the The Ground of Unity, which holds many traditional Protestant beliefs.
