BELIEFS
We believe that the Bible is absolutely true. We believe that there is only one, all-powerful, all-loving, holy God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the one and only true Savior, and the only sovereign Lord. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives inside every Christian and empowers believers to grow spiritually by knowing, loving, obeying, serving, and enjoying God forever. We believe that all have sinned. Because of our sin, we deserve eternal punishment in hell. We believe that salvation is a free gift from God and is offered to everyone. We believe that all believers, once saved, are kept saved by God's power. Therefore, true believers can never “lose their salvation”. We believe that the church is the family and spiritual body of Christ. Christ-followers are called to unite together in love, and work as a team through individual giftedness in order to influence this world for Christ. We believe that Satan and his demons are active in blinding mankind to spiritual truth in order to keep them from a personal relationship with God and eternal life. We believe in the impending “rapture” of the true church by the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ will then return to earth to establish His kingdom, to judge all unbelievers with eternal punishment in hell, and to reward all believers with an eternity in heaven.
