We have been a part of the Evident Life church community for over five years. We had previously been a part of Calvary Chapel and Vineyard and this church has a similar feel/balance/worship but is also very relational and smaller - Which we like and were looking for. We wanted a church where we could know people and be known, rather than a mega-church. Monthly potlucks, East Valley House of Prayer (EVHOP), and a great balance of Spirit-led ministry/spiritual gifts and sound teaching in the Word of God. There is a real expectation that God will show up every time we gather to teach, encourage, answer prayer, challenge and change lives. The church has moved to downtown Gilbert on Gilbert Road just north of all the downtown restaurants on the east side next to Dutch Bros Coffee. We are also a family-friendly church where kids are allowed to stay in the service, in the family room if a bit fidgety, or can participate in Kid's Life, the children's ministry. Rarely have we found a fellowship of believers as committed to one another, as committed to prayer, or as committed to studying the Bible. Programs are not the center of this church, Jesus is!
