My impression of Harbor Church is bad. I came from the background of hard teaching from the pastor. May be ever since I am became born again believer, the Lord is and has been growing me up to SEEK the TRUTH. If you like lighting, like me, the lighting is very good, you can read God's Word there, no problem, the worship, is ok, sometimes is great. But the teaching is so so. Sometimes the teaching at the harbor church is good, but not excellent. One time after sit thru the "prayer" message, I was really disappoint. There is no MEAT. Its purely people pleasing message, the speaker is telling the congregation how good they are!!! If you go to that church, don't expect the church to offer any assistant. 1. Broke my foot there, the entire church office new about my foot, but no one ever call to offer me ride to the church service on Sunday for over 6 months. 2x I called the church for ride and spoke to the receptionist C. her reply is "oh, I can't help you!!! We got calls like you all the time, but we don't have the manpower! This happen after I got into a horrible car accident, my car was totaled. So, I ask the lead pastor's wife T., who "seemed" wanted to help, but after I told her my result of asking for ride for the service, her first reaction was putting me down via text. Said I don’t like how you put the people I "love" down, its not acceptable!!!!!! I told her I am NOT putting her down, but it’s the truth. Guess this pastor's wife first initial T. B. is soo blinded by the world - being popular in people's eyes that goes to their church that she refused to see what I am telling is the truth. I didn't make it up, but she flatly refused to ask the receptionist C for proof if she did indeed tell me that. And since I have no ride to church, I didn't text T. B., I ask another pastor Steve for help, he tried to help me by contacting T. B., her first reaction was "I told you I am have someone can take you to church, wow, after I confront her about how she as being a pastor's wife offend me, she knowledge the fault is stil there, but she refused to admit she is wrong. She also told me she has long deleted all my texts to her about needing prayer!! When you find a good church, hopefully is spirit-filled, love the Lord Jesus Christ, obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit and NOT into people pleasing.
