Review for Stone Creek Christian Church
We found our home church
For a while now my wife and I have been looking for a church in RSM that we both liked and felt comfortable attending. We were looking for a church that we could call home and grow in our faith.
We had tried several different churches in the area but some were too big and we felt lost in the shuffle. Some were stuffy and the message was dry and not very inspiring.
I was getting a little discouraged thinking that there had to be a local church that we could love.
I prayed that God would lead us to a church that he wanted us to be at.
While looking on line I discovered Stone creek Christian. It looked promising so I thought that we would give it a try. Before we went I watched a couple of sermons on line. The messages were clear and biblically based.
So on Sunday 3/19/2023 we went to the service.
Our first impression as wonderful.
As we walked into the lobby we were greeted warmly and were handed a bulletin. As we walked in the sanctuary we were again greeted by several people introducing themselves. Immediately we felt welcomed. Pastor John came over and introduced himself. I liked him right away. He was open and honestly interested in us. I know that he was a very busy man but he took time and made both feel very comfortable being there.
The worship music was great not flashy as in some other churches that we had attended. Not old and stuffy but modern contemporary Christian songs.
Pastor John's sermon was biblically base but was taught in a way that was applicable to life today. We were impressed. After the service pastor John again approached us. He was genuinely interested in what we were saying. I told him about a health issue that I have he immediately started to pray for me and my wife. Wow I was so moved the more time I spent with him the more I liked him.
We both left there just buzzing with excitement.
Could this be the home church that we were both longing for?
I really was looking forward to going back.
The following Sunday my wife was out of town so I went back by myself and once again I a wonderful experience. I believe that we have found the church that we were looking for. If you are looking for a church that you could call home don't hesitate to try Stone Creek Church
