My husband and I are new to the area visiting many churches. This church has good music, song you hear on the Christian radio, people clapped during the songs but no amen or praise the Lord's. People seemed reverent and quiet until the pastor had some humorous moments during his sermon. The message was excellent, bible based , practical for everyday living . Those who lead the worship were older than we are acustomed too but the played electric guitars and sang very well, one younger man served as an usher. Afterwards we got a coffee and donuts and lots of people of all ages talking to one another. Some people, very few looked our way, no one went out of their way to greet us or ask if we were new. We got a couple of smiles and I am church once you would start coming would make friends very easily. They have a ministry to provide a cooked meal for a homeless shelter. Also various weekly meetings and planned events. A larger sanctuary is being built on the property. I would guess there were over 100 people at the service we attended. This is a non denomination church that reminds me of a Baptist background. They did emphasize and invite those interested to sign up for a future water baptism. We received a very nice welcome gift in the mail.
