Okay, maybe I'm biased, I am one of the Sunday School teachers, but it is lovely to be part of a group of people committed to religious education. I teach the young kids, or rather they teach me, mostly about how to treat one another. For me the most important message of Jesus' life is that of love: welcoming the stranger to the table, comforting the lonely, and serving each other. There is a tremendous power to harness if we can just unlock it, and this mystery is what makes it exciting to keep learning and growing. Although I'm a fairly new member, I've been involved in different ways with people of the church for years. I love the small groups where I can build friendships, talk about things that are important to me, and hang out with remarkable people.
