We, my Mentor and I, were shocked to hear the New DenominationalChurch pastor say; "We, at CalvaryChapel believe, that God at times will bring sickness/disease/disaster upon His Christian people..in order to make you more ChristLike"?! Also, that; "God ALLOWs bad things to happen to Christians, to make us better"?! This is crazy..any parent who'd allow their child to be beated or raped, would rightly go to Prison! Isaiah 53:4-5 says that JESUS bore our Sin, Sickness, etc... SO THAT WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO! Anything less than that is "False Humility"! If a young Christian is taught that God made them Sick..then they will be "confused", not knowing if they should keep it or fight it! God is not the "Author of Confusion"! Mk.7:13
