Pastor Mike Fillis is a nice man, the Church members are delightful. Pastor Mike preaches Calvinism, this past Sunday (August 2, 2015) he preached the "Doctrine of Election" (God by his sovereign will decides who gets saved and who does not get saved, man has no choice in the matter). It is my opinion, this teaching is contrary to 1 Timothy2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, and John 3:16. Worst of all, it cheapens what Christ did on Cross by implying that Christ only died for the Elect. I am not a Calvinist, nor an Arminian. I became a Christian by putting my faith in what Christ did on the Cross for not only me, but everyone. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World, John Calvin was a mere mortal. If you believe in Calvinism, this is Church for you. The Church members and Pastor Mike always give a warm welcome. If you do not believe in Calvinism, look elsewhere.
