I have been a member of this church for 16 years. I had two children go through the youth group attending 5 mission trips each. I have volunteered in a number of programs and participated in women's programs, educational programs, fund raising, sat on the church council and helped during the remodel. The staff is amazing, the new church is beautiful, the people are friendly and the ministers inspired. Rev. Dr. Keith Haemmelmann is current and intelligent. He leads the congregation with dedication and grace. His faith never wavers. With our associate Pastor, Rev. Dr. Guillermo Marquez-Sterling we have never ending opportunities to touch each other and the greater community. He is genuine and sincere and in touch with the needs of so many, I don't know how he keeps up! The associate minister for youth and young adults, Jeanne Haemmelmann, has dedicated her life to these young people and both of my children are better people because of her influence. She is tireless in her devotion to keeping them connected. This is no small feat given what modern youth are facing. Signe Webb is the associate for children and families and works hard to provide programs that bring families together. My young granddaughter was thrilled to go off to church school where Signe makes her feel important and welcome and where we know she's safe. This church is a lifeline, a touchstone, a sanctuary. It is a community with leadership and congregants who are faithful and dedicated to making the world a better place. They have all worked hard during this difficult time to reach us, be available to us and to keep us connected in our isolation. I feel very blessed to be a part of this church's mission and for all the opportunities they've provided for me to explore and strengthen my faith. Anna W.
