I went to this church several years ago. At first I was connecting with people and even met a nice lady there. Then the pastor decided it wasn't " God's will" for me to even be friends with this woman. So he proceeded to turn his "cult" against me. He didn't stop there. As I went to other churches, he called them to spread untrue rumors about me. The experience was so traumatizing that I have high anxiety about going to any church today. I spent a few years reading my Bible and praying to God for a while after I quit churches, but got no answers. Today I am an agnostic atheist and the last 2 1/2 years have been better. I will never go to another church again as I am too traumatized by the experience that I cannot go to church anymore.
