I was a pastors first son. So, I have been around and around many pastors, churches baptized young in Eagle Mountain Lake. Dad was the Chaplin of Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas. Dad planted churches in Tarrant and Dallas Counties. I did swim in the Baptistry when no one was looking and later military service Ranger, Special Forces and retired after 20 years of military service. Then I worked as Corp. Security Officer for three Corporations with Black Government Contracts. I was not really a Christian but I didn't know it until God Confronted me under a tree in Hunt, Texas 5 Aug 86. Now I tell you all this to support what I am about to write: Paul Barkey, your pastor is a humble, loving servant of God ...and I do know the difference in the Spirit. I met Paul in Branson, about 16/17 years ago. He touch me, yes, the Spirit of God in Paul touch ...a connection to one another, just a brief passing. After reading OnThisDay books .....it has been great support by the Spirit of God in times of testing, God testing me personally, and me testing others.. Bottom Line: What Privilege to carry, getting to know Paul by his testimony in Love with God and others.
