My family is a very unique family. In Jena we stick out like a sore thumb. My husband is from Mexico and I am from Jackson parish. We have two beautiful children. Being my family is biracial my husband and I was not sure where we were going to attend church when we moved to Jena in 1012. Jena Church Of God invited us with open arms. The pastor preaches about how God loves ALL! This is a place I defiantly want my children to be rooted. Every single service feels like it was just for me. I know that's Gods way of saying "your in the right church,don't worry" worship (singing) is amazing! It will make you want to jump out of your seat and MOVE with the Holy Spirit! Healing is in this church! Believe in healing, I have a rare brain disease that was causing me to go blind, I am only 25 years old but our pastor will tell you. When one of us has a problem WE ALL have a problem. That whole church prayed for me Including one guy that has been cured from cancer! The last time I was admitted into the hospital I was supposed to have a surgery that would save my vision but also change my life forever possibly leave me disabled and my Neurosurgon could not explain why I did not need the operation. He was baffled, but I wasn't. I knew my church members at Jena Church Of God and family were praying for me and prayers were defiantly heard because my vision is saved! I couldn't imagine my life with out Jesus. Jena Church Of God is a place you want to be if you believe God LOVES ALL! Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
