After many years of worshipping at a very large (over 1500 members) church on Boston's North Shore, I came to Fellowship several months ago, seeking quality over quantity. It is a much smaller congregation and I truly appreciate that, because I can get to know people by name and have already started to form some very meaningful and supportive friendships with other women there. The people are super-friendly, as is Pastor Larry. He is very well trained in Bible doctrine and theology and explains Scripture verse by verse in his sermons and also explains how Scripture relates to our daily lives even today. The church has numerous ministries and let me be a part of their annual vacation Bible school to local children this summer, which was like an evening camp (free of charge) where kids had a blast and learned about salvation in the process (i.e. accepting Jesus Christ's death on the cross as payment for our sins, as no one is perfect and could earn his way to heaven on his own without a Savior). If you are looking for a friendly, unassuming, Jesus-centered community, I encourage you to give Fellowship Bible Church a try.
