Church that made me leave the faith entirely

Our family was a part of this is church for a number of years. We served within the church, assisted with a local after school youth ministry in which we brought youth to the church, we did mission work through Jesus Loves Kalamazoo and other similar ministries, and our children attended missions in the Appalachia with the church. We loved the people of this church with all sincerity. However, as soon as our personal after school ministry grew, we sought more opportunities through another local church so that there youth would be able to get strong Biblical influence multiple days per week. The church frowned upon our interactions with multiple churches as we were trying to positively impact those of our after school ministry. Gossip about our family took place between the Pastor of this church and the Pastor of "The Bridge." We were told we had to make a decision a decision about what church we were to attend. Both churches began refusing us from attending study groups and services. Which makes little sense since these churches work together in local ministry projects such as Jesus Loves Kalamazoo. This was a heartbreak not only to us, but also to the children, to which, we were ministering. Needless to say, this finally sealed the deal in our faith walk. We have entirely left the faith of Christianity and will never again step inside a church of Christian Faith. I had to this point been a faithful Christian for 38 years. I definitely do not recommend Portage Free Methodist/Renovation Church or The Bridge. This is wound that will never heal.
