When we lived in Saginaw my wife Brenda & I attended this church. Mark Christian had just taken over the preaching duties from Ivan Odor and Ivan was still attending there. I believe Mark Christian went on to teach at Great Lakes Christian. Chuck and Marcie Marckel are former members who subsequently attended 242 in Livonia .While Brenda and I were attending 242 in Livonia we attended a conference in Brighton where members of First Christian from Saginaw were also attending the conference and they happened to notice us and invited us on their buses to meet many old friends who were still attending there First Christian in Saginaw I believe is affiliated with the 242 Christian Churches. I don't know if a friend of ours Tom Mcnerney is still the full time preacher. We are extremely close friends with Tom's Brother Timothy Mcnerney who preaches in Chula Vista California. This was one of the friendliest and caring churches we ever attended.
