Today, the pastor of Grace Episcopal Church let a drunk man soil himself and sit in one of the donated leather chairs at Jubilee House Ministry. I was getting disturbed by the smell of urine and feces because this man soiled himself. I told the pastor and the pastor yelled at me saying he could not do anything about it. There are about 15 leather chairs all paid for by donations to the church. The man sat there passed out for hours.
Everyone knows urine will ruin a chair once in it. The pastor was very inconsiderate and rude to me. He was not concerned for the drunk man's safety as he could have called health professionals, nor was he concerned with the guests' safety. The only two staff people and three volunteers ignored the complaints about the drunk man who soiled himself.
The whole house smelled completely terrible as the air was contaminated, as was the chair amd drunk man.
It affected my safety as well as others'!
The pastor as well as the pastor's boss allow the two staff at Jubilee Ministry House to do vile things, have physical relationships with homeless people, and make it unsafe for guests.
