My wife and I first moved to Montgomery City and joined Faith Baptist in 1984 , after shopping other local churches for one best to raise our (then) young family. The church was already very active in missions in Haiti and still is . Many members have worked on mission trips there . Along with monthly monetary support to a Haiti church, we also send support to missionaries continuing great work there . We also support missionaries active in Africa and many Muslim countries. Faith Baptist church is and always has been about serving God and sharing the gospel. Any that say different , knows nothing , except a story of Pastor we had for less than 3 months , that had a un-christian angry episode online . We have forgave him and those who written bad of us as after that . Faith Baptist will continue to praise God for His greatness , serve Him by helping others and share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ to the world.
