I am a member of Mint Hill Presbyterian Church. This church has been in existence for 45 years (previously under the name of Idlewild Presbyterian Church). The moment I entered the doors about 20 years ago, I knew I was at home. The love the congregation showed to me was incredible. The gospel of Jesus Christ is preached every Sunday, and our focus is on Him and His love. We have people from all walks of life who attend Mint Hill Presbyterian. Some of us (including me) have been very broken people who have received such healing from experiencing the love of Jesus and the congregation. We have always been very blessed to have a rich music program and visitors always comment on these things: the love that the congregation pours out to all who enter, and how they are blessed by the preaching of the Word—and the music. We are growing and have lots of little ones who are learning about Jesus and the building of His kingdom, so if you are a young family looking for a church home, please come and visit! We also placed a big emphasis on people with special needs (of all kinds). We welcome with open arms those who are disabled who desperately need our love, and also encourage people from other ethnic groups to give us a try! Our vision for 2017 is on Disability Ministry, the Ministry of Reconciliation, and helping Refugee families.
