Also known as Gate City Church, that is on the Main St. entrance. I visited this church about 2 months ago and thought it was a nice church. But after commenting to some of the band members on how well they sing for the Lord, I was treated like I don't praise God first ! If you go there, don't make any comments or tell them anything personal or it can be used against you ! For the next 3 weeks that I visited the pastor commented about my "behavior", and that I didn't put God first ! He is wrong and made me go from smiles and happiness to a frown on my face and never to return. You would think that he has other material to preach ! How about using the bible more ? Also, there is a cult type atmosphere there. When I spoke to someone, she looked up to the pastor as to nod that I was talking about him ! And all I said is that I shouldn't say much and that I will be looking for a different church. I didn't get the same welcome as I did from the other churches that I visited. Not recommended !
