Over the years I've been to church masses for several denominations at sever locations and have seen many pastors put on sermons. North Main United Methodist has always been my families church since moving to Gloversville when I was just entering Kindergarten. The recently promoted pastor; Chris has always been inspirational to me in his acceptance and has opened my mind to many different faiths and beliefs just by being one of the most accepting and peaceful men that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The congregation isn't large, but they're huge in spirit in faith. It's because of their lack of judgment and reinforcement of positive reinforcement that I was able to attend classes, build an expansive vocabulary but still accept my flaws and embrace them more as character traits. Chris himself is now working for a hospital helping people diagnosed with mental illnesses find peace. I still love attending and listening to other churches masses but United Main is my home church :) I can't wait to see the church flourish because with the faith of the congregation nothing is unachievable.
