I have been with the Roslyn Presbyterian Church since 1976, where my wife and I were married. In 1988, I became the church organist/choir director, replacing the previous church organist who moved to New York City. I am now serving as church elder and session member. We are a warm and friendly congregation and all are welcomed. The Roslyn Presbyterian Church is located in historic Roslyn, NY, nestled in beautiful Roslyn Pond (Gerry) Park. The Church building includes the main sanctuary, social hall, kitchen, church offices, classrooms, and a large windowed meeting hall. The Church is wheelchair accessible. Our voluntary Church Choir, consisting of professional and non-professional singers, performs from the choir loft above the pulpit. Sunday School runs concurrent with church services although, at present, we have very few children. We have a relatively small but loving and vibrant congregation. Roslyn is located on the North Shore of Long Island about 20 miles from New York City. We draw members and friends from the surrounding communities. The communities are affluent with many business and professional residents.
