I grew up with this church and my parents grew up with this church and my parents were very good Catholics, always donated and helped when the church asked. My Mother passed away 5 years ago. This is the first time I have seen a place to write a review. My parents made their own funeral arrangements, suppose to be waite and mass at the church. My father's funeral was like that, different priest. After my sister passed away, my mother changed her arrangements. She went to the funeral home and had arrangements changed to cremation and waite and mass at funeral home. She said most of her family were gone and couldn't see having a big funeral. The Saturday night before her funeral, we were told the priest said during his sermon he mention how he didn't know why her family would do that, to the whole parish. If he wanted to know all he had to do was ask. People said it was very uncomfortable. We notice that when the alter rosery society came in, my mother belonged to for many many years, were kind of cold acting. My parents were married in this church as was my sisters. All my sisters and my children were baptised there so we have a long history with the church. No respect for the priest there now. Cathy Riley
