Bethany UMC in Marysville is as warm and homey as Grandma's apple pie! It is nostalgic church at its best with a small and welcoming congregation, traditional format and hymns, and charming traditions like "Hanging of the Greens" and church suppers. The Pastor is young and energetic, and her sermons are concise and always relevant and interesting. For a small church, they are largely involved in the community, giving away clothing at their monthly Caring Closet, collecting food donations for soup kitchens, and partnering with Rebuilding Together to do house repairs for those in need. Worship Service is every Sunday at 10:30 am, and adult Sunday School is at 9am. Bible Study is held every Thursday at 1pm and is also available on Facebook (Join the group Bethany UMC Bible Study).
