A close friend of mine who comes to our ladies bible study here in Nashville told me about eyes on jesus and invited to come and visit with her on friday night. My friend was all about it, but I was hesitant. This was so tough for me, because my husband jeff and I are very active in church and have been our whole lives. We have led so many bible studies, and our goal is really seeking after the Word of the Lord revealed through the Scriptures. This is tough for me to say, but.... THESE PRECIOUS GIRLS WERE BEING SO DECEIVED. As I sat in the back on a "freedom friday" all I could think was these sweet girls who are passionate to find God in their lives are being terribly led astray by the glitz and glam of some lady. There were so many things that made me cringe when she spoke. I felt like she was trying to manipulate and pull these girls away into a deadly trap. The theology was just off. I am a mother of 2 girls and I hope that my girls never slide into something as slimy as this. The hard part for me is that I TOTALLY understand why all this was so attractive. We have to be able especially as mothers be able to have discernment for our children spiritually. I read bill schollar's review. And everything he wrote in his review resonated with what I was feeling and sensing while I was at this meeting. Needless to say I will never be going again. And I will be telling my church and bible study group that we lead to make sure to never go here. VERY DANGEROUS
