Southside is a very loving church. It seemed like just about everyone introduced themselves. The atmosphere was relaxed and they sang songs that I knew. Some were hymns and some were more modern but all of them were worshipful. My kids loved the children's department. Bro. Mike was very knowledgeable in the scriptures and made it easy to understand. They are studying the Bible from cover to cover in chronological order with weekly readings that the whole church reads during the week. They handed out several pages of notes that went with the sermon so you can study more during the week and it was full of great information. I think that what I heard was easy to understand and very interesting and most important, God spoke to me through the message. Great church.
