Who Are We?
We are a church growing and changing with the times without loosing our traditional teachings. We are a parish that is made up of folks with different backgrounds and different denominations. We are a younger congregation that has something for everyone.
The Church of The Good Shepherd was founded by The Rev. Jason Crowder, a former Methodist layman whom accepted the call to leave the United Methodist Church and to plant a radiational Methodist parish. The original church was located between Sweetwater and Niota Tennessee. On July 22,2017 the church suffered a devastating fire that forced the church to relocate. After a lot of prayer the church was relocated and is now housed in the former Blue Springs Baptist Church in Philadelphia Tennessee.
