As a former worship leader i was asked by worship director to participate on the team because they were struggling to get participation on the team. Shortly after beginning worship team Pastor decides to fire the to worship directors. This was done on a Saturday with both of the former directors present and everything seemed to be like it was mutual and then the following Tuesday when we have practice the pastor's tune changed and all of a sudden he decided to bring up some drama saying that the former directors were not honest or something like that. It's funny that two days prior to that everything was fine and the presence of all of us and then once the directors have left the premises he decides to change the story it's very unethical and very dishonest. I was new there so I didn't think too much of it until I started hearing stories and comments behind my back. People were literally asking if i was gay. First of all lets get one thing straight we are all sinners and instead of asking me if i was they decided to engage in their own guessing and side conversations. Very unprofessional and non christian. Play pretend to pray over people and look the part but when faced with a true sooner they don't know how to act and don't know how to do God's work. Judge for yourself but if I was you I wouldn't even waste your time. I dedicated my time and money and this is what i get. I am at this very moment broke and have $40.00 to my name but i still managed to make it to church to be a part of the team. If this is how they treat a member of the church just imagine how you will be treated or viewed if your not exactly what they think you need to look like.
