No Pastors Heart

I attended the Midlothian Campus of this church for almost 6 years. In most respects it is a good Bible believing church. However, there are a few problems. First is that the what I call "Big Church" controls everything. The campus pastor is basically a puppet that does what he's told. Can make no decisions on his own. That's not the main problem. The main problem is the "Big Church" and how they run things. For example - when I first started going to the church they had a very wonderful, gifted, dependable, humble man who led the Worship. One day, out of the blue, he was told the next Sunday was his last. He had no idea anything was going on and was devastated, thinking he had done something wrong (which he hadn't). The big church just decided that they needed someone to lead worship who could also help the pastor during the week. The current worship leader could not do that because he taught school during the week. Anyway, they had been talking about this change for weeks but never spoke with the current worship leader until a few days before his last Sunday??? Not to use a cliche' but"What would Jesus do"? We all know the answer the that. The He left the church very hurt and upset. This could have all been avoided if the Pastor had called him in at the beginning and explained to him what they were doing and why. He may have even stayed at the church if they had handled it properly. When I contacted Pastor Hahn, the main pastor, about it he basically told me they did nothing wrong and handled it correctly. WHERE'S THE PASTORS HEART IN THAT! Then recently the worship leader position at the Midlothian campus became available. I was interested because I have the gifts and talents to do it and I have extensive experience. I asked about filling the position and was told by Pastor Hahn that I would not be considered and if I felt as though the Lord was leading me to be a worship leader then I should find another church to attend. DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A PASTOR WITH A PASTORS HEART TO YOU? Things aren't all negative. Pastor Hahn is probably the best preacher of any church around. 1 Cor. 13:1-3: If I speak in the tongues [1] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, [2] but have not love, I gain nothing. There is no Pastor's heart or love in the way folks are treated. If you decide to attend this church just don't go with high expectations for ministry because you'll probably be shot down.
