This church has the same issue most ELCA churches seem to have. An unbiblical acceptance of abortion and LGBTQ+ agendas. Wokeness seems to be a common thread through the Sunday prayers. Constant reminders of climate hoax (crisis as they call it) during those same prayers is problematic. Now let's talk about Charlie's senseless assassination... When asked POINT BLANK if we would have a moment of silence for a father, a husband and a vocal Christian Witness and was told "NO!", well, that was the last straw for me. Attended this church for 4 years and had members I saw every Sunday that I had never talked to. People who seemed to avoid me, that I doubt they even knew my name. The failure of holding ANY recognition was the final straw for me. When the Pastor has lost the ability to lead his flock, but instead follows the flock as they race towards damnation is problematic. I found another church close by, one that EVERY SINGLE PERSON, from young to old, approached and introduced themselves, shock hands and welcomed me openly. EVERY ONE OF THEM! From the Pastor to the little girl who shock my hand and who's name was said so fast I didn't catch it. What a difference another mile down the road can mean when it comes to following God's word as written in the Bible! Ebenezer has lost their way.
