This church tells it how it is, not how people think it should be. Christianity is about God showing his love through his son Jesus. This love is then passed on to God's people who is everyone everywhere. This action comes from God and cannot be understood by his people without help from the Holy Spirit. Christianity is about opening your heart and mind to this truth. Most people think that religion is about the action coming from themselves. St.Paul's Lutheran Church teaches much of what St. Paul himself wrote which is that Christianity is God performing his actions through his people (everyone, everywhere). The action comes from God. This is what separates this church from many others. Many Christian churches are losing their way because the members are trying to justify their thoughts about what it means to be a Christian and how to interpret the bible. This church teaches that God is the justification and he has provided his exact wishes contained in the bible. There is no justification or interpretation needed. Just enjoy what he has provided, repent of the things that you know are wrong and thank him for the good, the bad and the ugly.
It has taken me 38 years to start to understand these teachings. I hope that anyone who reads this can shave some time off of this learning curve.
