Our Mission

To Be a Church of Impact
Our Hopes: 1) The You Would Know Jesus Everything starts with knowing Jesus as Savior. We are committed to having a time during all of our services where people can hear about the loving salvation of Jesus, and clear steps on how to receive him as their Savior. (Romans 10:9 ESV) 2) That You Would Receive Your Miracle God is active in the lives of His people. One person’s miracle may not look like another’s, but what is true is that we all need God to work in our lives. We are committed to seeking the Lord’s movement in people’s lives through prayer in our services and throughout the week. (Mark 11:24 ESV) 3) That You Would Be An Influence Once someone has experienced the goodness of God and the salvation of Jesus, the next step is to tell others what they’ve seen. We have all been given influence with people in our lives. We can use our influence with these people to lovingly tell them about what Jesus has done for us. (2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV)

BELIEFS

Our Doctrinal Beliefs: • The Trinity There is one God who co-exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are equal in authority and nature, but they fulfill different roles. (Matthew 28:19) • Person of Christ The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God and second person of the Trinity, became truly and fully man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful humanity. (Colossians 2:9-10) • Bible Scriptures are God’s divinely inspired words and therefore are our sole authority for life. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16) • Salvation Salvation is the free gift of God for the redemption of man from the power and penalty of sin. Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, by faith, salvation is offered to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10) • Last Things God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, the place of everlasting punishment. The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in the New Earth with the Lord. (John 14:3; Revelation 21:3) Biblical Sacraments: • Water Baptism The first step of obedience in Christ following salvation. It is how a Christian publicly professes their faith in Christ. (Acts 2:38) • Communion A practice that is meant to be observed over and over throughout the life of a Christian. It is a holy time of worship when we corporately come together as one body to remember and celebrate what Christ did for us. (Matthew 26:26-28) Biblical Practices: • Marriage A covenant relationship between God, one man and one woman, for life. The scriptures limit the expression of human sexuality to a marital relationship between a man and a woman. (Genesis 2:24) • Tithing Committed believers tithe their income as a way of honoring God. We recognize that giving the first 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving. (Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9-10)
