The GARBC exists to glorify God by assisting churches in biblical and dynamic disciple-making as an association of autonomous, Bible-centered, Christ-exalting, gospel-proclaiming Baptist churches. Based on our commitment to doctrinal purity, we collaborate with likeminded ministries that share our beliefs and our passion for making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Scriptural truth is the backbone of the GARBC. When 1,200 churches in the GARBC join voices to proclaim God’s truth, the voice broadcasts loudly!
Doctrinal identity has historically been important to us as Baptists. Our Articles of Faith provide a defined identity. Baptist distinctives mark our uniqueness within the broader Christian community. Each word in our association’s title, General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, reflects its organizational principles. Our Constitution establishes the parameters and outlines the procedures for functioning as an association.
