About Charlestown United Methodist Church
Charlestown United Methodist Church is a lovely rural church on the edge of the suburbs in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The historic building is nearly 200 years old with curved (and cushioned) wooden pews and stained-glass windows on both sides of the sanctuary. The congregation has a friendly, family atmosphere and welcomes people of all sorts as they are.
Services are roughly an hour long, with the message averaging 10-15 minutes. These may be based on topical series or the revised common lectionary... or whatever is on the pastor's heart.
Hymns tend to be traditional, but special music from the choir (once or twice a month) is often more varied.
