Dr. Roy F. Bright, Jr.
The Man
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Dr. Bright was raised in a Christian home by his grandparents. They made sure he was always actively involved in church. Their love inspired him to strive for greatness. He is married to the love of his life, Lady Toni L. Bright and together they have 3 children. Dr. Bright is passionate about education having earned a Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. in different concentrations of counseling as well as possessing 2 honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees. As an influential leader and goodwill ambassador, he has served on many boards and committees many of which address higher education. He is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Board of directors for Covenant Bible College.
The Ministry
Dr. Bright accepted his call into ministry in 1988. Since then, Dr. has become one of the country’s most dynamic voices. He is regarded by his peers as prolific, practical, and scholarly in his approach to ministering God’s word to groups young and old. He is an accomplished author, musician, and radio host. In 2011, Dr. Bright launched Kingdom Leadership and Training Institute to provide strategic consulting to pastors and churches in the areas of leadership, management, and ministry training. Through KLTI, Dr. Bright has had the opportunity to travel the country making significant impact in developing leaders.
The Mandate
Dr. Bright recognizes his assignment by God is to change the world. It is his belief that his voice has been anointed to speak to the dry bones as did Ezekiel so that they might live. As a result, the Holy Spirit has unlocked key giftings in him that allows him to operate both prophetically and apostolically. In 2004, Dr. Bright was set apart and consecrated to the Holy Office of the Bishop.
The Personal Me
My family is really close. We enjoy the simple things. We watch TV/Movies together, play board games and eat! We really love to eat.
