For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
I was lost and was destined for eternal damnation; yes Hell. "I" was the master of my life, no one told me what to do and "I" controlled my life how "I" wanted to. "I" brought nothing but destruction, pain and misery with that control. Thinking back nothing good came from my past except for the brokenness that caused me to cry out to God to help me. To save me.
"I" had no validation. But once "I" was in Christ, I found true joy and peace in my life no matter the tempests that now throw me around. By grace I have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8).
Jesus is the gift of God to all human beings. Christ’s grace is much more sufficient than any of us could ever understand. It would not matter if you do not want it, ask for it, or flat out reject it. That would not matter. Jesus Christ gave it anyway - for you.
So you can keep banging your head on the mantle of your life, eventually falling to the fire and ashes, or you can be lifted up and be seated with Christ upon His throne for all eternity. It is up to you. You will stand before Christ and answer for this decision.
