Meet The Pastor
Pastor Chuck Cook
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Cor. 4:7, "But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us." I love that metaphor "jars of clay." That's what we are. That's what I am. Though weak & sinful by nature, I was graciously redeemed by God as a young boy. And, to the praise of His Grace, he has been keeping me ever since.
In the kindness of God, I have been married to my beautiful bride of 18 years. Rosie truly is God's gift to me. God has granted us the joy of giving life to 5 children. Ray (17) is our firstborn, then Courtney (15), Caleb (9), and Abby (3). Zachary was only 8 hours old when the Lord took him and is waiting for us in the presence of Jesus.
I consider it a joy, privilege, and responsibility to have been called to preach the ever-relevant, eternal Word of God and to pastor the congregation of Grace Bible Church.
