Senior Pastor Scott Paczkowski
Hello, I'm Scott Paczkowski. I was born in St. Cloud, MN. I graduated from Hibbing High School in Hibbing, MN. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. with a degree in Religion, and Speech Communications, Theater Arts. I received my Masters and Doctoral degrees from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL.
I am married to my wife Jill, and we have one daughter named Hannah. Jill is a school nurse at Lovejoy Elementary School on the South East side of Des Moines. Hannah is married to a great guy named Justin and they have a Boston Terrier named Mario. Hannah, Justin and Mario live in Omaha, NE.
I enjoy reading, playing guitar, spending time my family and riding my bike. Writing my daily devotional is also a favorite pastime. The Minnesota Vikings are the team I root for, pray over and suffer through the bad times with, always believing that this just might be their year. Because my daughter and her husband are huge Husker fans, I am gritting my teeth and learning to appreciate the insanity that is Nebraska football.
Finally, I love Westminster. The people are faithful and caring. They have challenged my faith and so many have been an inspiration. I am proud to be part of a faith community that is committed to living out the faith with a commitment to justice and compassion. I love being part of a church that truly lives the gospel message with depth and integrity.
