Lead Pastor Kirk Bodem
I was born in Louisville, KY on January 15, 1977 but I was raised in Spartanburg, SC. I married Corinne on November 8, 2003. Together we have 3 children; Izak, Ean and Autumn.
I began as the lead pastor here at First United Church on January 1, 2013. I am the spiritual leader of the church family, the primary Bible teacher and the primary communicator of the churches mission, vision and values. I love what I do! I'm working alongside men and women who love Christ, and who want to make an impact for Him! God gave me the desire of my heart when I was called to lead First United Church. I know God has big plans and I'm glad He is allowing me to be a part of it.
Life change inspires me. I love seeing people take their relationship with God to new levels and allow Him to transform their lives. My life's goal is to be the husband, father and pastor that God has called me to be. To honor God by leading my family and my church to know and serve Him more.
