Bishop and Senior Pastor Eddie Muir
Pastor Eddie Muir was born to the late Elder Chester A. Muir and Elizabeth Muir on June 19, 1973. He was baptized in Jesus Name June 17, 1987, at Mt. Zion Apostolic under the late Bishop James O. Franklin, and filled with Holy Ghost October 17, 1987 at Mt. Bethel Apostolic Church under D/E James Z. Townsend. Pastor Muir is a licensed and ordained Elder with the P.C.A.F. Under the leadership of the honorable Bishop J.E. Moore of Joliet Ill, and Bishop Lambert Gates, Sr of Indianapolis IN. Pastor Muir has armourbeared for Bishop Lambert Gates for a number of years, traveling with him all over the country, and is proud to say he is the eldest son in the gospel. Also under Bishop Gates is where he received his training and tutelage. Pastor Muir preached his first sermon at Mt. Zion July of 1998 and his sermon title was, “Stand up and Win” Romans 8. He has served on several ministries at Mt. Zion; Youth, Men’s, Sick Visitation, Drama, Transportation, Armour bearer, and Ministerial Alliance. Elder Muir served as leader of the Mighty Men of Valor, armourbearer ministry for several years. Training and directing members of this ministry on how to properly serve the Pastor and visiting ministers. He has trained on the local and national level also. In 2011, Pastor Eddie Muir founded Nu-fire, a new generation on fire for God at Mt. Zion. This ministry consists of young men age’s consisting of 12-17. Pastor Muir has traveled the country; preaching, teaching, and leading people to higher levels in God. Elder Muir has preached for several churches and denominations through-out the country and has preached at councils and conventions and such like. In 2006 Pastor Muir founded Fresh Wind Ministry, a ministry dedicated to the lost, hurting, saved, and un-saved. In 2011 Elder Muir felt the call of God to go into the Pastorate, with several months of praying and fasting the Fresh Wind Community Church transpired late March in Merrillville Indiana. The theme for the year was “Rebuilding the City Walls”, Nehemiah 4:6; Rebuild, Restore, and Revive! Pastor Muir is married to the lovely Evangelist Shaurice Muir, and the proud parents of four children, Eriona, India, Eric, and Eddie Jr.
