Meet The Pastor
Rev. Ron Burcham
Rev. Ron Burcham has served as a Lutheran pastor for over 30 years. He is a life-long Christian who attended Lutheran elementary and high schools. Pastor Ron earned a BA Degree from Concordia in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and received his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. After being ordained in 1988, Pastor Ron served St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Van Horne, IA for five years. In 1992, he was called to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church where he served for over 21 years. Risen Savior called Pastor Ron to be Senior Pastor and his ministry with our congregation began in October 2013.
Pastor Ron is a graduate of the Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI), a nonprofit organization that provides continuing education and training to Lutheran Pastors. He currently serves as a member of the PLI Board of Directors and is a presenter at training events.
Pastor Ron is married to Michelle, and they have four daughters: Emily, Alyssa, Madison and Mackenzie. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys tinkering with antique radios.
