Meet The Pastor
Rev. Paul Underhay
Pastor Paul is a very caring person. He enjoys meeting new people and quickly puts them at ease. He always has time to listen. He feels blessed to be pastoring this wonderful body of believers.
Pastor Paul, originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, accepted the Lord as a teenager, and answered God’s call to the pastoral ministry. He graduated from Canadian Nazarene College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with a Bachelor of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts and was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene. He has pastored in the Church of the Nazarene in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and in Moncton, New Brunswick before coming to Florida in 1998. Paul accepted a call as Chaplain to St. Andrew’s Estates Retirement Community in Boca Raton. He then was Associate Pastor at Lake Worth Church of the Nazarene before coming to West Palm Beach Church of the Nazarene in 2015.
Esther leads us in worship from the piano, and from time to time provides special music on the concert harp.
Esther, a native Floridian, growing up in a Nazarene parsonage, became a Christian and felt a call to ministry at a very early age. She attended Eastern Nazarene College, and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in harp and piano. She taught Music in School in Newfoundland, and has since had a career in performing. She was privileged to have played for the Economic World Leaders’ Spouses at the G7 Summit in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has performed for President and Mrs. Donald Trump, President and Mrs. William Clinton, President and Mrs. H.W. Bush, and for HRH Prince Edward. She has performed on CBC National Television in Canada, and on WPBS in Upstate New York, and around the world on Celebrity Cruises and currently performs for corporate and social events in South Florida. But what Esther enjoys most is playing hymns and worship songs that express her devotion to God.
