Senior Pastor
Pastor Joshua has called Sioux Falls home since the age of two and deeply loves his community. Adopted at a young age, and shaped by various life experiences, the influence of parents and mentors, and his faith, Pastor Joshua discovered his calling to be both a pastor and a therapist, dedicated to helping people 'unbecome' in order to truly 'become.' His passion is to see every individual healthy, healed, and whole, living out their kingdom call to its fullest potential.
Pastor Joshua began his work in the addiction field in residential treatment in 2016 and transitioned to mental health in 2021. He is a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor-Qualified Mental Health Professional (LPC-QMHP). Joshua earned his Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of Sioux Falls in 2011. In 2016, he graduated from Sioux Falls Seminary with a Master of Divinity with a specialization in counseling.
In July 2021, Pastor Joshua was installed and ordained as the senior pastor of Center of Life Church. He furthered his education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with a specialization in leadership and organizational development from Walden University in 2024. Alongside his pastoral duties, Pastor Joshua runs his own mental health practice, The Becoming Agency Counseling, Coaching, & Consulting. He is married to Hailey, and they have a daughter named Ivy.
