Our Call into Pastoral Ministry
Every church has a story. Ours begins with a simple desire: to serve God's people.
For many years, my wife and I have had a deep passion for helping the local church. Whether encouraging believers, serving alongside church leaders, or helping churches grow, we have always believed that the local church is God's primary instrument for building disciples and transforming lives. We have experienced firsthand the beauty of Christian community and the importance of gathering together to worship, learn, and encourage one another.
Although people often asked if we felt called to pastoral ministry, we never imagined ourselves planting a church. We were content simply serving wherever God opened a door. Becoming pastors was never our desire nor part of our plan. Then everything changed.
In December 2025, God began making His calling unmistakably clear. Through prayer, His Word, wise counsel, and a series of circumstances that we could not ignore, He repeatedly directed our hearts toward church planting. The call was so clear, so persistent, and so overwhelming that after much prayer, we could no longer say, "Maybe someday." The only faithful response was to say, "Yes, Lord. Here I am. Send me."
Once we surrendered to His leading, we watched God begin to do what only He could do. From the very beginning, He has faithfully provided every step of the way. He has brought people alongside us, opened doors we never expected, provided financial support, supplied a place to gather, and continually reminded us that this church is His—not ours. Time after time, we have witnessed His faithfulness and His provision in ways that have strengthened our confidence that He is building this work.
The Truth Table Christian Church was born from a conviction that our world desperately needs biblical truth proclaimed with courage, boldness, love, and no fear. We believe people are hungry for more than opinions, trends, or entertainment—they need the life-changing truth of God's Word. Our desire is to be a church where Scripture is faithfully taught, difficult questions are welcomed, believers are equipped to defend their faith, and every person is encouraged to know Christ more deeply. We are committed to proclaiming God's truth without compromise, regardless of the cultural pressures or personal cost, while extending the same grace, compassion, and hope that Christ has shown us.
We don't claim to have all the answers, but we know the One who does. This church exists because God called, God provided, and God continues to lead. As we begin this journey, our prayer is simple: that every person who walks through our doors would encounter the truth of God's Word, experience the love of Christ through His people, and leave equipped to live boldly for His glory. We would be honored to have you join us as we seek to know the truth, defend the faith, and live God's Word—together.
