About Ebbert Memorial United Methodist Church
Welcome to Ebbert UMC. We are known in the community as 6th and C, the place to be. We serve our community by providing meals, support for shelter programs and spiritual nourishment. We feed people in body and spirit. We invite people to become disciples of Jesus Christ through welcome, worship, nurture and sending.

We serve meals to the community four times a week. Persons can volunteer to help at a Monday Breakfast from 8-11, A Wednesday community meal at 4:30-6:30 or to put together sack lunches handed out on Tues and Thurs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. We also host Egan Warming Center in the wintertime and the Interfaith Family Shelter for a week once a year. We have space available in our building for community groups.
We have started an evening contemplative musical service on the first Sunday of the Month at 8:00 p.m.
Everything is available to the public.

We believe in Jesus Christ as our savior. We believe in the scriptures as the source of this faith and practice. We believe that faith is practiced in acts of compassion and mercy. We believe that Christ is alive as a spiritual presence in our midst who forgives, heals and forms us. We seek to be the Body of Christ, serving Christ and his mission in the world.
