My stepfather joined this church after my mother passed away. His new lady friend is a member. But it's really odd because she isolates him from all of his family and is mean spirited toward us. He's not permitted to watch anything but religious TV at her house. She speaks very harshly to him, demands that he arrive early in the morning to her house. He stays there until 11:00 p.m. He won't participate in any of our family gatherings. She's mean and I'm afraid that this is some kind of cult. Her children seem to be pastors but they are reportedly broke and not terribly kind. However, one of them just got a $50,000 truck and I'm wondering if it was purchased with the money that my stepfather and mother worked so hard to earn. I'm afraid that this church might be involved in this.
